Brenda Song about "Life on Deck" May 23, 2008
Brenda Song, aka London Tipton, from "Life with Zack & Cody" recently did an interview for the upcoming series, "Life on Deck." "We started shooting in 2004.We finished after three and a half years. I basically grew up on the show. I was 16 (when the show began). It's been an amazing time. I learned how to drive on the show; I've actually started driving now. The boys are learning how to drive. Kim Rhodes just had a baby, Tabitha Jane. We've really become a family and it was really sad, but, you know,it's a beautiful thing. Disney wanted to do a spin-off, and so now the Suite Life instead of being in a hotel, will be on a boat. We'll be traveling different places. It opens a lot of new doors for a lot of new characters and a lot of new settings. It'll be really, really fun. I'm really excited." Can ya really blame the girl? She'll get to travel to all types of stops and the view will be just gorgeous. It really is a good thing the group is so close, they'll be even closer out on ship.
Brenda Song is a dress-down kind of girl November 24, 2007
If you're a loyal follower of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, you would have noticed that the character played by Brenda Song wears over the top fashion outfits, but according to the actress, she's exactly the opposite in real life. Says the 19-year old actress, "We used to get dressed up but the last couple of years we've come to realize you can play and laugh better in jeans. We found a good medium." As for her Christmas style, Brenda Song is going for scarves rather than feather boas and sequins that her onscreen character London Tipton goes for. She shares, "Christmas is the only time you can wear red and green and get away with it. I have an awesome red-and-green plaid scarf. You feel like you're in the spirit when you put it on. All my red dresses get pulled out at Christmas." Her final piece of fashion advice for all the teens and tweens out there? "Most teenage girls tend to go a little overboard. You have to remember LESS IS MORE."
